WHAT IS A CARETAKER?
A traditional definition of a caretaker is one who takes care of the house or land of an owner who may be absent.
But what if the house represents more than a building, and the land represents more than property?
At Caretakers Network, we believe the principle of a caretaker reaches much deeper.
A caretaker is someone who has been entrusted with the responsibility of caring for something that ultimately belongs to someone else.
We believe GOD is the Owner, and we are the caretakers.
Everything placed in our hands carries a responsibility—our faith, family, marriage, children, health, finances, work, home, gifts, time, and community. These are not simply things we possess. They are things we have been entrusted to care for, protect, develop, and manage faithfully.
Being a caretaker does not mean having all the answers or living a perfect life. It means recognizing the responsibility that comes with what GOD has placed in your care.
A husband is called to care for his household.
A father is entrusted with the guidance and protection of his children.
A person must learn to manage their work, finances, health, relationships, and responsibilities with wisdom and integrity.
And when life becomes difficult, a caretaker does not abandon what has been entrusted to him. He learns. He grows. He seeks GOD. He develops the knowledge, discipline, faith, and character necessary to continue moving forward.
That is why Caretakers Network exists.
We are building a network designed to help people become better equipped to handle the responsibilities of life—spiritually, personally, relationally, and practically.
Because ultimately, we are not the owners. We are the caretakers.
And one of life's greatest responsibilities is learning how to faithfully take care of what GOD has entrusted to you.
